Wild caught sockeye salmon fillet sold frozen, individually vacuum sealed fillets. Fillets are skin-on and deboned, product of Canada or U.S.A.
Sockeye salmon fillets have a bold flavor that's often described as more intense compared to other salmon varieties. They have a firm texture and a deep red colour. Great for grilling, baking, smoking or cedar planked.
Note: Though high in omega-3 fatty acids sockeye salmon is one on the leanest varieties of salmon so it is important to be careful not to overcook.
